Former dancer with Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) from 2012-2020, Tyler has toured the west coast performing in lead roles choreographed by Modern Dance pioneers Humphrey, Limón, Shawn, McKayle, and Cunningham. With RDT, he also worked with current choreographers Bebe Miller, Lar Lubovitch, Danielle Agami, Tiffany Rae-Fisher, and Zvi Gotheiner, among many others. He has guested with Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company during a collaboration with RDT and the Eccles Theater, as well as St. Petersburg Opera and Moving Current Dance Collective. He most recently joined NobleMotion Dance in the summer of 2020. Tyler holds a BFA in dance from The University of South Florida, during which he performed in works by Bill T. Jones and Doug Varone. This is Tyler's third season dancing with NobleMotion Dance.

Jacob Regan
Jacob Regan is a movement researcher who has a love for dance, a knack for falling, and a passion for improvisation. In 2017 he got his BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from East Carolina University, where he was introduced to both contact improvisation and formal philosophy. These both developed into fascinations for Jacob, the zeal of which he may never recover from. While living in Boston, he danced with Urbanity Dance Company, Prometheus Dance, Lorraine Chapman the Company, and worked with Contact Improvisation Boston and Contact Improvisation Jamaica Plain to facilitate weekly improv jams. A wanderer at heart, he’s grateful to have spent the past eight months before moving to Texas traveling around the lower 48 US states with his life and dance partner Jen Passios, living mostly out of a tent and dancing in many national parts, forests, and the occasional cave. Jacob is a MFA Dance graduate student at Sam Houston State University and in his second season with NobleMotion.

Lauren Serrano
Lauren Serrano is originally from Orange County, California. She received her B.F.A in Dance from University of California Santa Barbara and her Masters in Dance Education from the Arnhold Graduate Dance Education Program at Hunter College in New York City. She is honored to have worked with artists such as Andrea Schermolly, Yusha Sorzano, Christopher Pilafian, Jennifer Muller, Mike Esperanza, Stephanie Miracle, Brandon Whited, Joshua Manculich, Andy and Dionne Noble, and Edgar Zendejas. Lauren is currently a Graduate Assistant at Sam Houston State University pursuing her Masters in Fine Arts in Dance. Lauren is in her 3rd season dancing for NobleMotion and is also the Co-Artistic Director of NMD2 and Administration and Marketing Manager for the company.

Angelica Villa
Angelica Villa is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Houston, Texas. Pronouns are she, her, hers. She’s been living her life in the art form of dance for over 13 years obtaining her BFA in dance at Sam Houston State University. She performed works by artists such as Sidra Bell and Andy Noble, in addition to working closely with Donald Shorter Jr. and Adele Nickel. Villa’s notable performances include Dance Gallery Festival, Barnstorm Dance Festival, and ACDA South-Central Conference. Villa is currently teaching classes in the Houston area and is looking forward to creating with artists in NMD this season.

Dillon Bell
Since the age of 3, Dillon has strived for a tenacious grasp for movement and rhythm. He developed his own quality at Amanda’s Dance Center in Daytona Beach, Florida up until age 18. Leaning more and more towards concert dance, he began to gravitate toward the Orlando scene, working with Kathy Follensbee at Dr. Phillips High School. This gateway opportunity led him to work with much-acclaimed companies and choreographers, such as Jon Lehrer, Layla Amis, Robert Moses, Kiki Lucas, Joshua Manculich, and Andrew and Dionne Noble. Dillon is currently training with the Sam Houston State University Dance Department, further cultivating his own twist and intricacy of the movement itself. He now moves alongside another handful of extremely talented movers and minds, such as Adele Nickel, Francisco Graciano, Travis Lake, and other NobleMotionDance company members such as Evelyn Toh, Colette Kerwick, and Abby Schafer. Dillon is beyond excited to be training as an apprentice for this season.
““Throughout my time as a NobleMotion company member, I have come to understand our mission and enjoy performing work that is daring and honest - from the lights to the set pieces, to even the choreography. NobleMotion strives to bring art to the community through educational outreach and performance opportunities for our second company, NMD2. Community is a great theme of Vortex and I feel that everyone coming will see a reflection of past experiences in the choreography at some point in the show.”

““You never know what you’ll be asked to do with NMD, which keeps things interesting. I’ve danced on a rock, with a lampshade on my head, in darkness, ash, water, wind, and with a Styrofoam board taller than me. I love NMD because there are no limits to the creative minds of its dancers, choreographers, and directors.”
Travis Prokop
““I love NobleMotion because all of the work is both artistic AND accessible. I think it is very rare to find work that fits into both of those categories, especially within Modern dance. I also love the spectacle of our more technology driven work. I can remember the first time seeing Photo Box D and being completely overwhelmed by the magic of that piece.”
