Deontay Gray
DancerDeontay Gray is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where he began his journey in the arts as a musician. As a vocalist he has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Meyerhof, and Strathmore with musicians Linda R. Hall, Dr. Craig Jessop and Marin Alsop. At the age of 19 he began his dance career and later received his B.F.A in Dance from the Conservatory at Shenandoah University. In 2015 he was featured as a choreographer and dancer presenting his work in The Royal Theatre in Winchester, England. He was featured in works at the 2015, 2017 & 2018 New York Jazz Choreography Dance Project at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre and the Salvatore Capezio Theater in NYC, the 2016 VelocityDC Dance Festival at Sidney Harman Hall in Washington, DC, and the 34th Annual Choreographers’ Showcase at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in Maryland. While in Maryland he has been a guest artist with Dance n B’more, CCBC dance company, Deep Vision, Opera in Baltimore, Ballet Embody Dance Company, CityDance, Anne Arundel County Orchestra, and more. He has been a dancer with Christopher K. Morgan and Artists since 2016. He joined the Project C Studios dance family in 2020 where he was teacher and choreographer. In 2022 he held the title of Artistic Director for the studio. In 2023 Deontay began working with the Uptown Dance Company in Houston TX, where he was featured in the company’s production of Nutcracker, as Arabian, and Spanish Duet; as well as The Sandman in the production of Hansel and Gretel. This is Deontay's second season working with NobleMotion Dance.

Tyler Orcutt
DancerTyler Orcutt is a Houston-based dance artist currently in his sixth season with NobleMotion Dance, where he has performed nationally and internationally; he was recently a featured performer in Andy Noble’s Science Worth Dancing About, a 2023 TEDx Talk and at the United Nations’ AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland. Tyler was a Lecturer of Dance at Sam Houston State University, his alma mater, and in the Fall 2025 he will be joining the dance faculty at Southern Utah University. Prior to his move to Texas, Tyler spent eight seasons with Repertory Dance Theatre (2012- 2020). His RDT career included performing lead roles in historical works by Ted Shawn, Michio Itō, Doris Humphrey, José Limón, Donald McKayle, and Merce Cunningham, as well as contemporary works by Bebe Miller, Lar Lubovitch, Danielle Agami, Bill Evans, Noa Zuk & Ohad Fishof, and Zvi Gotheiner, among many others. Tyler has formerly served as adjunct faculty at the University of Houston, and faculty at studios in Texas, Utah, and Florida. His education includes an MFA in Dance from SHSU and a BFA in Dance from the University of South Florida. His choreography has been presented at Dance Italia, Barnstorm Dance Festival, American College Dance Association, RDT’s Emerge, SHSU, and Scottsdale Community College; his most recent commission will be performed by Movement Source Dance Company in 2024.

Wesley Cordova
DancerWesley Cordova started dancing at the age of eight and was instructed in various forms of dance at North Harris Performing Arts. While teaching at N.H.P.A Wesley became a member of Revolve Dance Company where he worked with Amy Cain and Dawn Dippel. Additionally, he was a cast member of Gothic South Production's, Revolve on Camera; a series of several dance films, directed by Benjamin Epps. He also performed in several East meets West productions, performed alongside the Houston Symphony Orchestra, and has worked under Wes Veldink, the creative director of the Wes Veldink Movement in NYC. While acquiring his B.F.A. in Dance at Sam Houston State University, he became a member of NobleMotion Dance and performed with the company for three years. Most recently he was a performer and dance captain for two Houston Grand Opera productions. He has studied under; Lindsey McGill, Randall Flinn, Elijah Alhaji Gibson, Andy Noble, Dionne Noble, Manuel Vigoulle, Amy Cain, and Dawn Dippel. Wesley has performed with NobleMotion Dance in the past two seasons.

Jacob Regan
DancerJacob Regan is an improviser, performance artist, movement researcher, choreographer, and contemporary dancer. Jacob grew up in North Carolina where he began his movement studies with capoeira, accumulating skills in breaking and contemporary dance during his high school years at Northwest School of the Arts. After receiving his B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography with a Philosophy Minor from East Carolina University, he lived in the Boston area creating, teaching, and performing with Urbanity Dance, Prometheus Dance, Lorraine Chapman the Company, and as a freelance artist. He earned a MFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University in 2024 where he is now a Lecturer of Dance. This is Jacob’s fifth season with NobleMotion Dance, and astute audience members may remember him from his reoccurring role as “Not Tyler.”

Lyndsey McGill
DancerLindsey McGill was born in Houston, Texas. She began her formal dance training under Elizabeth and Rosemary Molak in Orange County, California and continued training at the Houston Ballet Academy under the direction of Ben Stevenson, Clara Cravey, and Priscilla Nathan Murphy. Since graduating from the Houston Ballet Academy, Lindsey has worked with companies in Houston, New York, and Portland including Northwest Dance Project, Hope Stone Dance, Michele Brangwen Dance Ensemble, iMEE, Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, NobleMotion Dance, The Next Stage Project, KDNY, and O Dance. She has also had the opportunity to dance in projects by jhon r. stronks, Teresa Chapman, Vault, 6 Degrees, Freneticore, and iLluminate, among others. Lindsey was voted Reader’s Choice Best Dancer in 2006 for the Houston Press’ annual “Best...of Houston” series, and artistic directors and dancers awarded her the 2007 Buffy Award for Best Performing Artist in Houston 2005-2007. Lindsey has been choreographing since 2004 and has made works for Revolve Dance Company, Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, iMEE, Northwest Dance Project, O Dance, Freneticore, 12 Minutes Max, Frenetic Fringe Festival, and the Big Range Dance Festival. She serves as co-director, choreographer, and dancer for Group Acorde. After guesting with NobleMotion in 2013, Lindsay has returned for a sixth season dancing with NobleMotion Dance.

Maria Perez
DancerMaria Perez is a Houston-based dancer who values collaboration, community, creativity, and exploration. Maria has trained in ballet and modern technique for majority of her dance career and has a high interest in contemporary, partnering, and improvisational work. In 2021, Maria had the opportunity to travel internationally to attend Dance Italia in Lucca, Italy and experienced repertoire from Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Maria has also trained with NYC based artists Alexandra Wells, Sidra Bell, Ami Shulman, Carlos Kerr, DualRivet, Mike Esperanza, and Elia Mrak. In 2022, with NobleMotion Dance, directed by Andy and Dionne Noble, Maria performed in their collaboration with composer J.E. Hernández for Performing Arts Houston’s New/Now Artist Commissioning Project. Throughout her collegiate career, Maria performed in works by choreographers such as Gregory Dolbashian, Francisco Graciano, Adele Nickel, Andy Noble, Dionne Noble, and Takehiro Ueyama (Take Dance). Recently, Maria attended a Whim W’Him intensive in the Northwest, where she worked with Olivier Wevers, Karl Watson, and Michael Arellano, and the FLOCKWORKS intensive in Chicago, IL where she continued to practice her partnering and choreographic skills with master teachers Alice Klock and Florian Lochner. Maria is in her second year performing with NobleMotion Dance as a company member.

Angelica Villa
DancerAngelica Villa, from Houston, Texas, embarked on her dance journey with Aldine Dance Company and Red Door Productions under Sarita Salinas, where she honed her skills in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop, while also delving into aerial, and stilts techniques. In her time with Aldine Dance Company and Red Door Productions, she had the opportunity to study under Jennifer Mabus, Lauren Anderson, Amanda Wheeland, David Monroe, Shohei M Iwahama, and Jason Anderson. She furthered her studies at Texas Woman’s University before earning her BFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University as a Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholar. In her time at Sam Houston State University, she worked with esteemed artists such as Sidra Bell, Dionne and Andrew Noble, Evelyn Toh, Donald Shorter Jr., Adele Nickel, and Travis Lake. Continuing to enrich her artistic repertoire she expanded her dance horizons with Dance Works Chicago, Ballet Hispanico, and Dance Italia. Currently, in her third year with Noble Motion, she looks forward to exploring new creative opportunities in her current collaboration with NMD.

Joseph Stevens
DancerJoseph Stevens, born in Corpus Christi, TX, graduated from the University of North Texas earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and a Minor in Spanish and Communications. Aside from NobleMotion Dance, he has worked numerous dance companies including Open Dance Project, Houston Contemporary Dance Company, Black Label Movement, MetDance Company, B.B. Moves Dance Company. He serves as a dance educator for various studios as well as for educational residencies administered by Open Dance Project (HTX) and Heidi Duckler Dance (LA).

Amy Symonds
DancerAmy Symonds has a passion for dance making and dance sharing. She trained with Youth American Ballet Company before expanding into postmodern techniques at Scottsdale Community College alongside programs with GagaLabs, SALT, and chuthis. Amy has worked collaboratively on countless shows and projects with CONDER/dance, Scorpius Dance Theatre, and many more while premiering her own choreographic work at festivals across Arizona, Utah, and New York. She is excited to experience all that Houston has to offer with NobleMotion Dance!

Dillon Bell
DancerDillon Bell is a mover, maker and artist currently based in Huntsville, Texas. Growing up in Daytona Beach, Florida, He has always strived for a tenacious grasp for movement and rhythm. Dillon has worked with much-acclaimed companies and choreographers, such as Dual Rivet, Jon Lehrer, Robert Moses, Kiki Lucas, Joshua Manculich, Andrew and Dionne Noble, Adele Nickel, Travis Lake and Francisco Graciano; Including tap dance legends such as Nicholas Van Young, Sarah Reich, Charles Renato, Scott Poiley, Jade Whitmire and Derick Grant. Dillon gradauted in Spring 2025 with his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University. This is Dillon’s fourth year working with NobleMotion Dance.

Cole Hinson
Dancer - ApprenticeCole Hinson is currently in his last semester at Sam Houston State University pursuing his BFA in Dance. He is a contemporary based mover and choreographer with a background and passion for acrobatic movement and artistic expression. He’s performed in a multitude of festivals with companies and solo artists around Texas, including, Artists for Hope, Austin Dance Fest, Barnstorm, Aimed Dance, and Bailando. He has been apart of Noblemotion2 since August of ‘23 and has performed works by Mike Ezperanza, Dionne and Andy Noble, Colette Kerwick, Jen Mabus, and Lauren Serrano. Cole has been apart of Aimed Dance under the director Amy Elizabeth, in Beaumont, Tx, since Summer of ‘23. Cole hopes to impact and inspire audiences with future choreographic development. Post graduation, he hopes to continue furthering his education, and create healing environments in dance.

Bryan Ealey
Lighting Designer/Technical DirectorBryan Ealey's passion for lighting design is rooted in the fundamental ability to shape the stage in a way that supports, gives focus, and elevates the audience's performance and experience. As technical and visual artists, we are here to service the story being told, whether presented through theatre, dance, or music. Bryan is an MFA Lighting Design graduate from the University of California San Diego and a resident Lighting designer /technical director & Board Member of NobleMotion Dance. He was born and raised in Houston, TX, and holds a BA in Drama from Prairie View A&M University. Following undergrad, he went on to work at local Houston theaters as an audio and lighting technician and has toured across the country in concert venues such as The Fox Theatre (Detroit) and Madison Square Garden (New York) as an Audio Assistant with International R&B Artist, Teena Marie - all while being an Audio Engineer and Lighting Designer at House of Blues - Houston and Lighting Director for River Pointe Church in Richmond, Texas. In the 15 years of his professional career, he worked as the AVL Supervisor and Associate Production Coordinator at Stages Theatre (Houston) until he arrived at Sam Houston State University - Dance Dept. (2015 - 2020) as their Dance Technical Coordinator / Director. Throughout his career, he has been fortunate enough to design for several theater and dance companies such as Main Street, 4th Wall, Stages, The Landing Theatre Company, Houston Grand Opera, Unity Theatre, Horse Head Theatre, Classical Theatre Company, NobleMotion Dance, Open Dance Project, Social Movement Contemporary Dance, Houston Contemporary Dance, Urban Souls Dance, and Von Ussar Danceworks (New York Dance Festival) at the Alvin Ailey Theater.

Badie Khaleghian
Multi-Media Designer & ComposerBadie Khaleghian is an accomplished composer and multimedia artist celebrated both nationally and internationally for his intermedia works. His compositions and artworks have graced prestigious stages worldwide, including recent exhibitions at The United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, Udayana University in Bali, Indonesia, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music in NYC, and Hobby Center in Houston, Texas. Notably, Badie has received honors, including grants from New Music USA, the Theodore Presser Foundation, and the City of Houston. As a composer fellow at the Ucross Foundation Artist Residency, Avolach Farm Music Institute, and Virginia Center for Creative Arts, Badie remains dedicated to broadening the reach of new music to diverse audiences.
Badie's innovative approach intertwines art and technology with a particular focus on the neuroscience of music cognition and interactive-immersive intermedia composition. His collaborations with outstanding institutions such as the NSF IUCRC BRAIN Center at the University of Houston, Medical Humanities at Rice University, and MD Anderson Cancer Center have driven pioneering projects involving mobile brain-body imaging, brain-computer interfacing, and real-time AI-driven brain data visualization and sonification.
Badie currently resides in Brunswick, Maine, and holds the Assistant Professor of Digital Music position at Bowdoin College. He teaches electronic music and multimedia while conducting research, composing, and creating art, all while embracing active learning. Badie holds degrees from the Bahá'í Institute of Higher Education in Iran, as well as from the University of Georgia and Rice University in the United States. Furthermore, Badie actively presents at national and international music festivals and conferences, with his works showcased at notable events such as the Atemporanea Festival in Buenos Aires, the Korea Electro-Acoustic Music Society's Annual Conference in Seoul, and the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS), among others.

Daniela Diaz
Costume Designer (Landfall)Daniela Diaz is a Texas based dancer and costume designer currently pursuing both a BFA in Dance and a BA in Communication studies as a dual degree student at Sam Houston State University. They have designed and constructed costumes in the SHSU Dance Department Costume Shop for faculty members Dionne Noble, Jacob Regan, and Adele Nickel for the concert Spectrum. Daniela has also worked as a costume and wardrobe assistant for the 2025 American Dance Festival production of Footprints for choreographers Ravid Abarbanel, Michelle N. Gibson, and Tú Hoàng.
