The Nobles Choreograph for American Crime

NobleMotion’s Artistic Directors have exciting news! ABC’s television series American Crime hired Andy and Dionne Noble to choreograph a pivotal scene in the show’s fifth episode that aired on February 3, 2016.  

 

The Nobles were delighted to work closely with the show’s creator John Ridley (Academy Award winner for Best Adapted Screenplay for “12 Years a Slave”) to develop a four minute contemporary choreography that was shown in its entirety in the episode.

 

Fun Facts:

  • American Crime Season One was nominated for 10 Emmy’s and 3 Golden Globes

     

  • American Crime features many notable actors including; Felicity Huffman (Golden Globe Winner, Oscar Nominated), Timothy Hutton (Oscar Winner), Regina King (Emmy Award Winner), and Andre Benjamin (Grammy Award Winner)

     

  • The Nobles dance was shot with NFL wire cam and is four minutes of passionate, raw, athletic dancing captured in one long shot

     

  • Nine out of the ten dancers featured are from Texas

     

  • Composer Mark Isham created an original score for the choreography

     

  • Dancers featured include Timothy Amirault, Albert Drake, Tristin Ferguson, Julian Grandberry,  Rachael Hutto, Kimi Miaidoh, Jenna Mitchell,  Travis Prokop, Gage Self, and Elena Valls
